"Millennials are poised to reshape the economy; their unique experiences will change the ways we buy and sell, forcing companies to examine how they do business for decades to come." - a quote found on a Goldman Sachs online infographic.
Not only do 20-30 somethings of today care about where and how their products are made, but they also care deeply about their world, the people around them and the capacity they have to make a positive impact.
The power of collaboration my friends, is a beautiful thing. Living in a city that is so massive, with dreams that sometimes seem, absolutely too overwhelming, it's a thrill to connect with people, especially other women, who are fearlessly fighting for what they believe in and are inspiring those around them in the process. Shop for Her was created by two bold and bubbily women, Jess Puccinelli of Haute Hope and Sheeva Sairafi of Local & Lejos, with intent to create a rad place and experience to shop for the perfect Mother's Day gifts. There was wine tasting, tasty treats and remixed tracks from our old days playing as groups of friends made their way through the garden space, learning how the products are made, or how their purchase would impact a greater good.
